Jamaica Blue Mountain No. 1 boasts an impeccable. perfect balance. truly deserving of the title of "King of Coffee."
The Blue Mountain area is located at an altitude of 800-1.200m in the Blue Mountain range. In 1953. the Jamaican government enacted a law clearly defining a boundary between this area and other areas. and stipulated that the name "Blue Mountain" could not be used for coffee produced outside the Blue Mountain area. Therefore. only coffee produced in this selected region can be called Blue Mountain coffee. Among these. this is the "No. 1" grade.
